Stay authentic with myLoop
The integration of automated insulin delivery into the YpsoPump system portfolio allows you time away from your diabetes and more freedom to do what you love in life.
Put your glucose management on Auto mode
Smartphone-based therapy management is the future of diabetes treatment.
Combine the YpsoPump insulin pump, the CamAPS FX mobile application and the Dexcom G6, CGM, or FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor for an automated insulin delivery system managed directly from your smartphone. The integration of automated insulin delivery into the YpsoPump system portfolio allows you time away from your diabetes and more freedom to do what you love in life.
How myLoop works
For automated insulin delivery with the YpsoPump you need the CamAPS FX app installed on an iPhone or Android smartphone and the Dexcom G6, CGM, or FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor. Connect the CamAPS FX app to the insulin pump and sensor. The sensor sends glucose data every minute (FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus) or every five minutes (Dexcom G6) to the CamAPS FX app. Based on those readings, the app adjusts insulin delivery on the insulin pump every eight to twelve minutes to adjust to ever-changing glucose levels.
The CamAPS FX app is personalized and adaptive; it constantly learns and quickly adapts to ever changing insulin needs. It adjusts to diurnal and day-to-day variations in insulin requirements and compensates for over and under-dosing of the meal bolus. For increased privacy and convenience, you are able to deliver a meal bolus directly from your smartphone. The CamAPS FX app is approved for people with type 1 diabetes aged two years and over when used in combination with Dexcom G6.
myLoop - Our mission
*CamAPS FX is intended for use in pregnancy complicated by Type 1 Diabetes, provided the linked CGM is labelled for use in pregnant women in Canada. Dexcom G6 is not indicated for pregnancy in Canada

How does it learn?
Prof. Roman Hovorka, developer of the CamAPS FX app, explains how the CamAPS FX algorithm learns. The learning takes place on three levels:
Level 1
Overall learning: This learning is based on the body’s overall insulin need; the insulin needed on average and during the day.
Level 2
Diurnal learning (over 24 hours): This learning is based on how much insulin is needed for a specific hour in a day.
Level 3
Post-meal learning: When the user delivers a meal bolus, the system will observe whether the insulin amount was appropriate. If a user constantly over or underestimates carbohydrates, the system will start to adjust insulin delivery post-meal.All these learnings are occurring continuously.
In-app training
Complete the CamAPS FX in-app training and ask your healthcare professional for additional training, if necessary, and you are ready to start using the system as a certified CamAPS FX user. The in-app training will take you about 60 minutes. You will be asked to watch a series of videos and complete practical tasks while linked to a virtual pump and sensor. Note that you require a version of the YpsoPump that is compatible with the CamAPS FX app and a connected Dexcom G6, FreeStyle Libre 3 or FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus CGM sensor to use myLoop.

Enjoy freedom at every stage of life
Every person deserves a life filled with freedom, not limitations. The Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) system myLoop was designed to simplify diabetes management, boosting physical and mental wellbeing as much as lifestyle freedom

myLoop for seniors arrow-rightInsulin pumps and Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) systems can significantly improve glucose management, but they do not eliminate the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Because these systems use only rapid-acting insulin, any interruption in insulin delivery (e.g., infusion set failure, pump occlusion, empty reservoir, or device malfunction) can quickly lead to ketosis and DKA — even if glucose levels are not very high. DKA is a serious and potentially life-threatening condition.
If you feel unwell, have persistent high glucose levels, or detect positive ketones, please contact your diabetes care team immediately and follow their guidance. Do not rely solely on the AID system to correct high glucose or clear ketones. Always confirm that insulin is being delivered, and use your backup insulin method (e.g., insulin injections or insulin pens) if needed.
